Helping you take the next step
Our main services
Dr Deval personally performs advanced ultrasound scans, including 3D and Doppler imaging, to assess your uterus, ovaries, and pelvic health. This allows him to identify potential issues and tailor treatment without delays or external referrals.
MiFertility specialises in mild IVF and ICSI protocols. These treatments use lower doses of medication, aiming to produce fewer but higher-quality eggs; this approach reduces side effects, stress, and costs while still offering excellent results for many patients.
Gynaecological surgery
Dr Deval has advanced UK training in minimal access (keyhole) surgery, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic. He completed the RCOG Advanced Training Skills Module (ATSM) in Benign Open and Laparoscopic Surgery in 2013. He focuses on surgical treatments to optimise fertility outcomes for women with gynaecological conditions like endometriosis, fibroids, and polyps.
He also enhances chances of natural conception and IVF success in patients with submucous fibroids, endometrial polyps, and hydrosalpinges. Dr Deval also performs a variety of general gynaecological surgeries as part of his public appointment.
Fertility preservation - Egg freezing
MiFertility is passionate about supporting women in accessing their reproductive freedom by freezing their eggs for future use. This is called ‘social egg freezing’ when there is no definite medical indication. The success of egg freezing depends greatly on age, with younger women having better outcomes.
Ovulation Induction
Ovulation induction helps women with PCOS or irregular cycles ovulate more regularly, often leading to natural conception. Guided by scans and tailored care, this approach supports fertility while avoiding unnecessary treatment in those who don’t need it.
IUI
Intrauterine insemination places prepared sperm into the uterus around ovulation and is often used with donor sperm or in cases of sexual dysfunction; however, it offers lower success rates than IVF for unexplained infertility.
PGT-A, PGT-M and PGT-SR
Pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT) is carried out on embryos at the blastocyst stage where 4–6 cells from the outer layer are gently removed and sent for specialist genetic analysis. There are three types: PGT-A (chromosome number), PGT-M (specific inherited conditions) and PGT-SR (structural chromosome rearrangements). PGT can help select embryos with the best potential for pregnancy in certain situations, though it is not suitable for everyone.
Fertility Preservation-Egg Freezing
Embryo freezing allows healthy embryos to be preserved for future use, providing flexibility and more options in your fertility journey. The process uses advanced freezing techniques to maintain embryo quality, so embryos can be stored safely and used at a later stage when the time is right for you.
