Out of Pocket Expenses for IVF/ICSI
We strive to provide a high quality service at an affordable price, thus there are certain out of pocket expenses.
The out of pocket fee for each fresh IVF/ICSI cycle is 1500$
Oocyte retrieval (Egg collection) is performed under deep sedation by Specialist Anaesthetists to ensure adequate pain relief during the procedure. This requires dedicated theatre facilities with adequate monitoring.

Cycle Cancellation:
In the event that the cycle has to be cancelled due to very low/no follicular response in a particular month, a cycle might need to be cancelled.

With advances in the field of Assisted Reproduction Technologies (ART), various additional treatment modalities are available to maximise chances of success per egg collection cycle. Costs for some of these treatment options is not covered by Medicare. You may not require/need to have these additional treatment.

Embryo Biopsy (PGS-Pre Implantation Genetic Screening, PGD-Pre Implantation Genetic Diagnosis):
Women with recurrent miscarriages, may benefit from screening (PGS) their embryos for chromosomal abnormalities(aneuploidies). This is not covered by Medicare.
Women/couples with inherited genetic conditions may benefit from testing of their embryos for this condition(PGD)

Egg Freezing
